Applying for Sixth Form

The application window for 2024 entry to the Sixth Form opens 23 November 2023.

How to Apply  

For all applicants we use an online application system , click the “Apply Online” link located on this page.

Please ensure you answer all the questions accurately as missing information may lead to delays in processing your application.  

The Application Process  – Internal Applicants

Once your application is received, we will acknowledge it and then follow it up in our Year 11 Achievement and Guidance evenings in March 2024.

The Application Process  – External Applicants

When you have completed your application, we will review it. We may also invite you to a consultation interview. Usually these will be face to face meetings, however this may need to be a telephone appointment depending on the social distancing guidelines at the time of the interviews, which are scheduled for April 2024.  These will take place outside the school day and you will be invited to book at time that is convenient to you.   

You will meet with a member of our team who will discuss your application with you. After the consultation interview, we may make you an offer of a place, conditional on you achieving the entry requirements for the courses you have applied for.  

If you have completed an application and have not heard from us by Friday 2 February, please contact the school.  

 Accepting your place and enrolling in the Sixth Form  

We aim to make all offers by Friday 19 April. The deadline for accepting offers is Friday 26 April.  

Students who have accepted an offer of a place will be invited to a Welcome Event and Transition Day at the end of the GCSE exam period.

Students will be enrolled into the Sixth Form once they have received their exam results. Details of how to complete the enrolment process will be shared closer to results day in August 2024.
