Alongside the transition events, these pages will provide you with essential information about the support provided to help students settle into St Benedict’s and make the best possible start. The step up to sixth form study is both daunting and challenging and being well prepared to make a strong start is the first step to success.

Firstly, there will be Summer 2024 Transition Packs that will be uploaded onto our Teams site. These packs are designed to prepare for studies at St Benedict’s. There is a Transition Pack for every subject that we offer at St Benedict’s.

I must stress that undertaking the work in the Transition Pack of a particular subject does not mean that a student is enrolled onto that course. Final subject choices will be dependent upon the grades that they receive in August.

There are also Independent Learning Guides for every subject. No student should ever be without work for the subjects that they are studying. Good use of the independent study packs will greatly enhance chances of success at St Benedict’s. These will be available to students from September 2024.
